Product Description

The DKM Stage 1 MA Clutch Kit is engineered for Volkswagen enthusiasts who need an OE-style replacement clutch with added performance capability. Designed for daily driving and moderately modified vehicles, the system delivers reliable power transfer while retaining the smooth engagement characteristics of an organic friction disc.

The sprung clutch disc features organic friction material designed for smooth, progressive engagement. This construction provides predictable clutch response, while the sprung hub helps absorb drivetrain shock during clutch engagement.

A cast-iron single-mass flywheel replaces the factory dual-mass flywheel on compatible applications. Its durable construction provides a direct connection between the engine and transmission, making it well suited for everyday driving. As with other single-mass flywheel conversions, additional drivetrain noise or gear chatter may be noticeable.

DKM rates the MA series for up to 258 lb-ft of torque, with factory-like clutch engagement characteristics. The kit includes the pressure plate, sprung organic disc, cast-iron flywheel, and necessary installation components, providing a comprehensive clutch upgrade for compatible manual-transmission Volkswagen applications.
