Product Description

The APR PEX Open Intake System replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a high-flow open intake designed to improve airflow into the turbocharger. By reducing pressure drop before the turbo, the system helps improve throttle response, supports increased horsepower and torque, and reduces the effort required for the turbocharger to draw in air.

At the center of the system is a massive 7" washable and reusable cotton filter featuring a frontal air inlet and a 4" rear outlet. Its oversized surface area provides excellent filtration while allowing substantially more airflow than the factory intake system.

The intake uses high-heat-deflection PEX material to create a precisely shaped heat shield that helps separate the filter from hot air passing through the radiator. PEX also retains less heat than metal, making it well suited for use within the engine bay while providing a clean, factory-inspired appearance.
